Suffolk County Prevention Resource Center is dedicated to strengthening communities and empowering lives. As a non-profit resource center we are committed to building and supporting healthy drug-free communities through public education, professional training and the provision of effective tools for those working to prevent drug and alcohol abuse.
Suffolk County Prevention Resource Center is funded by New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (NYS OASAS), Suffolk County Department of Health/Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services, and South Oaks Hospital.
2010 - 2011 NYS OASAS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SURVEY RESULTS NOW AVAILABLE FOR BOTH NASSAU AND SUFFOLK COUNTIES - The Long Island Youth Development Survey was made possible by the support from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), the Suffolk County Department of Health (SCDOH), Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services, and the Nassau County Department of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency, and Developmental Disabilities Services (NC).
