This training will offer an opportunity for Prevention, Addiction and Mental Health professionals to familiarize themselves with motivational interviewing concepts and techniques. In addition, recent “MI-3” updates for this evidenced-based therapeutic method will be highlighted.

This training is derived from a Train-the-Trainer opportunity with Dr. William Miller and nationally recognized Motivational Interviewing Network of Training (MINT) trainers.

This training meets established standards for 12 education hours for Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC initial section 2 and renewal), Credentialed Prevention Professional (CPP initial section 4 and renewal), and Credentialed Prevention Specialist (CPS renewal only).
