DESCRIPTION:We invite you to participate in an important conversation about reducing alcohol-related harms in New York using evidence-based policies. These region-specific meetings will bring together community groups\, researchers\, and government representatives to discuss community perspectives on prevalence data\, policies\, and action steps that can be taken. \n  \nEarlier this year\, the New York State Alcohol Policy Summit I: Local Action\, Statewide Solutions on April 18\, 2024\, was held at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy in Harlem. A group of Summit attendees have been working together to set the stage for these regional meetings by gathering data\, scientific evidence\, emerging policy/legislation\, and priorities to initiate the development of a set of NY Alcohol Policy Recommendations.
