Unfortunately, equality in behavioral health care is the ideal but not yet the real. Disparities occur across many dimensions, including race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, age, location, gender, disability status, and sexual orientation – Kaiser Family. This workshop will discuss how the recent incidents of civil unrest due to police brutality and the disproportionate impact of COVID 19 on African Americans, Latin X and aged populations.
