Response Hotline The crisis intervention/referral hotline is open every day of the year, day and night, including holidays. Professionally trained and supervised volunteers offer callers telephone support and help them to explore options that can lead to thinking through next steps. We do not offer therapy or advice, but help callers lower their anxiety and find their own solutions. Crisis counselors also provide referrals for support groups, clinicians, mental health clinics, other hotlines and a host of other community programs and services. |

Parents360 Rx Program The Parents360 RX community education program is designed to increase an adult's knowledge of substance abuse and confidence in his or her ability to speak with teens about the subject. After marijuana, prescription and over-the-counter medications (ex. Adderall, Vicodin, OxyContin) account for most of the top drugs abused by 12th graders in the past year. The Parents360 Rx community education program increases an adult's knowledge of substance abuse and confidence in their ability to speak with teens about the subject. Chris Herren Chris Herren is a former NBA player who has struggled with substance abuse for much of his basketball career. Drug-free and alcohol-free since August 1, 2008, Chris has refocused his life to put his sobriety and family above all else. Chris is the founder of The Herren Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing treatment navigation, educational and mentoring programs to those touched by addiction and to educate people of all ages on the dangers of substance abuse.
